GARY P. NUNN'S "WHAT I LIKE ABOUT TEXAS"

There's an excellent slide show on youtube featuring pictures of places we know and love in Texas. I'm usually not much for slide shows set to music, but seeing as how I've been to a bunch of these places, it brings back a lot of memories. It also makes me want to hit the road, and head to Terlingua, or the Frio River, or any other number of places featured in the song.

For any native Texan, the song and accompanying slide show might bring a tear to your eye. As Texas changes every day it seems, days like those shown in the photos are fading quickly, and I wonder what kind of Texas our kids will have to live in 40 years from now?
