Texas Ghostrider was nice enough to ask me to do a guest post over at his blog, and I tried to write something that really expresses how I feel about the men and women in blue, the thin blue line between peace and anarchy in our society. Texas Ghostrider is a lawman, in fact, from what I know, he's the kind of guy you'd want for a partner. And to a real cop, well, there's no better compliment than to say you'd work with another man or woman as your partner. That's trust, baby.
Anyway, next time you see any kind of police officer, be they a street officer, detective, game warden, lake police, constable, sheriff, school police, highway patrol, federale or what have you, take 25 seconds and thank them for what they do. For putting their lives on the line daily for our safety. Shake their hand, offer to buy them a coffee, water or coke if you see them at the store and tell them you appreciate what they do.
